Checkpoint to run RFID labeling event in Belgium

On June 8 in Brussels, Belgium, Checkpoint Systems will run an event that will focus on how RFID and labeling solutions can help boost sales and profits.

Dubbed ‘Fashion Day’, the event will feature presentations from a number of high profile speakers, including Leen Danhieux of GS1 Belgium and a senior representative from UK clothing retailer Matalan. Delegates will be able to hear how RFID can improve efficiency from source-to-store and how new technologies can boost sales in apparel outlets. Additionally, a leading international apparel retailer will explain how introducing source tagging helped it improve loss prevention and speed up a product’s time to shelf.

Checkpoint Systems will also be using the event to preview its new RFID platform for apparel retailers. The innovative ‘overhead’ solution is the first in a new set of devices that will help stores track goods and improve loss prevention, thanks to unique tag-reading technologies developed by the company.
