Smartrac to sponsor and present at NFC Bootcamp

Smartrac, a developer of RFID transponders and inlays, will sponsor the NFC Bootcamp Training Series organized by OTA Training. In addition, Smartrac leaders will be featured speakers at the seminars.
The NFC Bootcamp sees near field communication experts speak about what NFC is, how it is being employed, what some of the business models are and how you can take advantage of the technology in your business. It also includes how to develop an NFC application and how to deliver an NFC campaign. The series is being delivered in different cities throughout the US, as well as throughout the world.
‘Smartrac brings a unique perspective to our NFC Bootcamps,’ said Robert Sabella, chief executive officer of OTA Training. ‘As a major developer, manufacturer and supplier of RFID transponders, they provide our attendees with real world, hands-on expertise in implementing this next-generation NFC technology that ultimately simplifies business processes and delivers immediate return on investment for companies implementing this technology.’
Dr Christian Fischer, chief executive officer of Smartrac, said: ‘OTA Training’s NFC Bootcamp Series is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive, hands-on training programs for practitioners looking to evolve from contact-based applications to smart and user-friendly solutions. As a global market leader in RFID inlays and transponders, we are excited to be a part of OTA’s global program, and see this partnership as a way to help companies experience new levels of success.’
The next NFC Bootcamps will be held in London at the Screenmedia Expo 2012, May 16 and 17 at Earls Court 2; and then in New York City, May 23 and 24, 2012, at the NYC Seminar and Conference Center. In addition, NFC Bootcamps are scheduled for Seattle in June, Sydney in August and Prague in October. For more details visit www.nfcbootcamp.com.
