Avery Dennison RFID enters HF market

Avery Dennison RFID Division has entered the High Frequency (HF) market for RFID inlays with the introduction of three new platform products.
‘Expanding our product portfolio into HF enables us to offer the best product for any given application,’ noted Jack Farrell, vice president and general manager of the RFID division of Avery Dennison. ‘While we offer a broad array of industry-leading UHF products, many of our customers have asked us to enter the high frequency arena. Our new HF product line is a natural extension of our experience and success in developing RFID solutions for our customers.’
The HF RFID market typically includes media management, healthcare and asset tracking. Avery Dennison’s initial foray into this technology will include a portfolio of products to address these market segments. Avery Dennison RFID introduced three new HF platforms at the RFID Journal Live event in Orlando in April. The three products, AD-709, AD-714 and AD-720 are offered in a wide variety of configurations to meet application requirements.
