Kodak adds Sonora UV plates to Australian line-up
Previously only available in Japan, Kodak UV process-free plates are aimed to be introduced to the Australian print market later this year.

The technology is planned to be launched down under at PacPrint 2017, the country's major trade show in May.
The process-free plates can run on sheet-fed, heatset web, and commercial coldset presses and across applications such as commercial print, offset packaging, and UV.
The company says the plates deliver longer run lengths for UV print applications than any other process free plate, with up to 30,000 impressions.
For printers with limited floor space where room for a plate setter can be better utilized by other ancillary equipment, Kodak's process free plates serve a valuable footprint purpose, less effort and lower costs for platemaking as well as more stability.
