Schober to unveil IML system at Ipex

At Ipex, Germany-based Schober will launch an automated delivery system for the production of in-mold labels (IML).
The RSM 410-IML/MSV is a modular machine which includes an M-Stack delivery, though the model on display at the event will show the S-Stack, which can be upgraded with an automated delivery system including counting, stacking and, if required, banding.
Additional features included in the standard configuration or available as options are fine adjustable denesting station; antistatic device; gap control systems; and V-Stack (robotics) for handling large products. The machine is available in working widths of 410, 520, 550 and 680 mm.
Schober will also demonstrate its RFID-CP and RFID-TI machines. RFID-CP, designed for medium and short runs, converts pre-printed heavy labelstock. It produces contactless readable tickets for public transportation cards, admission tickets and garment and swing tags. RFID-TI is an entry level machine for the production of smart labels for applications such as automatic product recognition and inventory management of palletized and bundled products, shipping documents, logistics management and optimization.
Further technologies to be highlighted at the company’s booth include equipment for die-cutting, laser cutting and sealing/embossing.
Schober was founded in 1949 and specializes in developing and manufacturing precision tooling, built-in modules and special machinery for the paper, film and foil processing industries.
