Applied DNA appoints sales and marketing staff

Applied DNA Sciences (APDN), a provider of DNA-based anti-counterfeiting and product authentication technology, has appointed new sales and marketing personnel.
Dave Wigfield, has been appointed vice president of sales, secure documents. Previously, Wigfield was managing director and general manager for Eastman Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group in the US and Canada. Before this, he was based in Brussels as VP of sales for Creo Products in Europe, Middle East and Africa, which was acquired by Eastman Kodak in 2005. Wigfield received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and a high school degree from the International School of Geneva, Switzerland.
Tom Gladtke, director of sales, textiles, has joined APDN to help increase its global textile market share to include fiber, yarn, fabric, finished products and textile printing. Gladtke brings over 25 years of experience in this field to the team.
Larry McIntosh has been appointed as director of sales, electronics. He has 20 years of sales experience in the microprocessor, semiconductors and other electronic-driven industries, and possesses a wealth of B2B experience in selling technology-enabled services and products. McIntosh was previously director of North American sales for AMD, and also worked at ATI Technologies for a number of years.
