Kodak centralizes European activities

Eastman Kodak is relocating its European headquarters to a state-of-the-art building in Eysins, Switzerland, which will also bring its inkjet demo facilities and EAMER Technology and Solutions Centre under the same roof.

Kodak has relocated its European operations to a new facility in Switzerland

The Eysins building was completed at the end of June with staff relocated during July, ready to open for business at the beginning of September.

The company’s European headquarters and inkjet demo facilities are currently based in Gland, Switzerland, and the EAMER Technology and Solutions Centre is in La Hulpe, Belgium.

The news follows Kodak's recent announcement of the management team to lead it out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and Antonio Perez's exit from the company.

By relocating to a single building, Kodak said customers, partners and prospects can travel to a single location to meet the Kodak team and explore the company’s product portfolio.

Philip Cullimore, managing director for Kodak in the EMEA region, said: ‘The relocation makes life much easier for our customers. In a single trip they can meet our team of experts and see demonstrations of our full range of Kodak solutions.

‘The move also makes commercial sense from a business perspective, as we’ll no longer be running two offices. We’ll be a leaner, more cost-effective operation.’
