Printpack supplies packaging for brand relaunch

Printpack has supplied KP Snacks with the packaging for its rebranded Phileas Fogg range of flavored and textured crisps.

The new snack range includes flavors such as Louisiana Sweet & Smokey BBQ and Cheese & New York Deli Relish. They have been designed to provide consumers with taste profiles from around the world, mirroring the exploits of the main character of the same name in the novel Around the World in Eighty Days, but which they can experience at home.

As such, Printpack said it was imperative that the new packaging communicated this unique point of difference.

They have been printed using flexo, with Printpack’s state-of-the-art technology used to produce “stunning graphics that really make the pack stand-out on shelf”, the packaging manufacturer said.

Printpack is a privately-held manufacturer of flexible and specialty rigid packaging, operating 28 manufacturing facilities in the US, Mexico, the UK, Poland and China. It recently launched two products to enhance the quality of gravure printing, 4SIGHT and HRG.

Printpack added that it has established a partnership with KP Snacks based on “many years of trust, quality and excellent service”, so when it came to a rebranded product launch, requiring the best possible graphics and stand-out shelf appeal, Printpack was “the natural choice”.

The relaunch has been a great success seeing products fly off the shelves at Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, and we anticipate the same success when the products are available at Asda, Morrisons and Tesco soon.’
