Labelgrafic expands capabilities with new Nilpeter FA-17
Esagraf, Nilpeter’s long-standing partner in Spain, played a key role in the successful installation and commissioning.

Spanish converter Labelgrafic has invested in a Nilpeter FA-17 to strengthen its market position and broaden its offering in close collaboration with long-term partner Adhesivos y Gráficas Ezquerro. Labelgrafic provides labels for various industries, including food and beverage, industrial applications, and chemicals. By investing in flexo technology for the first time, the company is taking a bold step forward in its development.
Labelgrafic had previously operated with offset technology, but evolving customer requirements and shifting market trends made the addition of this capability both logical and necessary. After a comprehensive market review, the Nilpeter FA-Line emerged as the optimal choice.
'The example was clear with Adhesivos Ezquerro, and after comparing different options, it made perfect sense to choose Nilpeter,' said Enrique Desamparados from Labelgrafic. 'We’re close to having 10 flexo lines from Nilpeter across our group. This simplifies training and operations and enhances our agility and versatility as a group.'
The newly installed Nilpeter FA-17 press was up and running quickly, delivering high-quality labels for the sectors Labelgrafic had set out to serve. The transition from offset to flexo introduced new challenges, but the team soon adapted.
'It was a challenge at first, but the speed with which we’ve embraced this new way of working has been surprising – and the results already speak for themselves,' Desamparados added. 'The press is stable, productive, and offers excellent register.'
Esagraf, Nilpeter’s long-standing partner in Spain, played a key role in the successful installation and commissioning. The collaboration – marked by dedication and efficiency on both sides – ensured a smooth transition and swift integration of the new technology.
'The installation came with the usual teething issues, but they were quickly resolved thanks to Esagraf’s dedication,' said Desamparados. 'Training was fast and effective – another reason we value Esagraf as a long-term partner.'
With the Nilpeter FA-Line now an integral part of its production, Labelgrafic is already planning for further growth. The company has acquired an additional 7,000 sqm of land adjacent to its current facility, paving the way for future expansion and new press lines.
'In our case, the investment has been a resounding success,' Desamparados concluded. 'The next step is to fill this line with work – and if things continue to go well, we’ll soon be thinking about the next one.'
