AMC Italiana appoints Weldon as India agent

Italy-based AMC Italiana-Averoldi has appointed New Delhi-based Weldon Celloplast as its exclusive distributor for its die-cutting machines in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and the Middle East. 

AMC Italiana was founded in 1973 by Angelo Fapanni and the company has installed over 800 machines around the world.

Weldon Celloplast is a manufacturer of self-adhesive labelstock, tamper evident materials and specialty tapes. Weldon Celloplast was founded in 1982 by the present managing director, Harveer Singh Sahni. The company now represents some of the leading international names in consumables, materials and equipment.

Harveer Sahni said: ‘AMC Italiana complements the range of leading brands of offerings that we bring to the label, printing and packaging industry. The quality and performance is already accepted in the Indian market as AMC Italiana has successful installations in India with some of the leading printers.’
