Founder to show digital inkjet and pre-press products at drupa

China-based Founder Group will show its two latest digital inkjet printing presses and a series of packaging software products at drupa in Dusseldorf, Germany, on May 3-16.

On display will be the EagleJet P5200 wide format press for book publishing, government printing and copying, digital newspaper, direct mail, bills and short-run personalized business printing; and the EagleJet L1400 UV digital inkjet machine for label and package printing.

Founder also provides the software to accompany the presses. Founder Pasharp offers functions including trapping tools, specialized step & repeat and a series of editing tools, claimed to reduce the pre-press workload and improve the quality significantly. The software is widely used during pre-press for gravure, flexo, offset and screen printing, as well as metal printing.

A new product, PhotoPack, is based on Adobe Photoshop and deals with complex image processing. PhotoPack introduces pro-level trapping, line extraction and color separation functions to Photoshop in addition to a series of raster image processing tools enabling pre-press operators to produce high quality work more efficiently, says the company.

The company will be present in hall 5 on stand A25.
