New compact labeling machine by Herma US
The North American subsidiary of German Herma unveils compact, semi-automatic and FDA-compliant labeler designed specifically for pharma market.

The new Herma 211 HC wraparound labeler has received Food and Drugs Administration approval and is seen as helpful in the transition from clinical trials to full production. It will also aid the smaller-batch manufacturing typically found in biopharmaceuticals.
Capable of applying up to 30 labels per minute, the new machine prints webs up to 80mm and is suitable for products such as syringes, tubes, glass vials and ampoules ranging between 10-120mm in diameter.
‘The idea behind the new Herma 211 HC is simple: compactness that doesn’t sacrifice accuracy or performance,” said Peter Goff, CEO of Herma US. ‘And as specialty medicines and limited-run biopharmaceutical products become increasingly prominent, the unit also meets the growing need for modest yet robust machines for smaller, highly precise batch production.’
Herma US will demonstrate the machine for the first time at Healthcare Packaging Expo held between September 23-25 in Las Vegas, NV.
