Cerm, European supplier of management software for narrow web and label printers, has appointed its first business development consultant for the United States. Ron Bailey joined the company in September 2011.

‘What impressed me most about Cerm is the print knowledge of the programmers and managers. This results in a system that’s ready to use by our customers with minimal customization,’ said Bailey.

Bailey previously held positions at print and graphics suppliers like Heidelberg USA, in Kennesaw, GA and Agfa Graphics, in Wilmington, MA and has extensive experience in systems integrations and workflow management gained from working in printing plants throughout North America.

‘Our objective is to find a good match between customer’s expectations and our software,’ said Peter Dhondt, global business development and sales manager for Cerm. ‘Having Ron’s experience and knowledge in the US will contribute to making this possible.’
