matchmycolor establishes North American operation

matchmycolor has named industry veteran John Sweeney (pictured) as its business development manager, Americas.

Managing partner Judy van de Langkruis said: ‘John Sweeney is a recognized thought leader in color measurement, color management and color control technologies and trends. He brings extensive business development experience, and will work with our technology partners to integrate the matchmycolor Colibri Gateway cloud-based solution. We are pleased to welcome him to matchmycolor.’

matchmycolor was founded in 2009 following a management buyout of the Colibri business from Ciba Specialty Chemicals, now part of BASF. matchmycolor brings together an offering of IT services and color know-how, resulting in technical software for the industrial market.
