Enfocus to offer HP SmartStream users Smart Automation

Enfocus is working with HP to automate and streamline the digital print production process for HP Indigo users. Using Enfocus Switch, Smart Automation will be integrated into the HP Indigo SmartStream Designer application and HP SmartStream Production Pro Print Server. In addition, HP Indigo users will be able to use Enfocus’ PitStop product line for Smart PDF Preflight and correction.      

Fast turnaround times, end-to-end automation, streamlined digital print production, reduced manual intervention and more print jobs in less time are claimed to be the main benefits delivered by integrating Enfocus Switch with HP SmartStream Designer and HP SmartStream Production Pro Print Server.

Angelo Manno, global account manager, Crossroads and OEM at Enfocus, said: ‘Customers will now be able to extensively automate their HP SmartStream Workflow and add new capabilities in an easy and affordable way. Switch 11 includes three configurators that were developed by the HP Indigo team. They allow the setup, control and automation of Imposition and Variable Data Print jobs as well as the automated jobs’ submission to HP Indigo presses, removing the manual user interaction, resulting in less errors, time and cost savings.’
