Solarsoft targeting European business

Solarsoft targeting European business
- UK developer has strong presence in North America

- Now looking to expand and establish European business

UK-based management and enterprise software developer Solarsoft is working to grow its business in Europe after establishing itself as a leading name in North America over the last three decades.

During a breakout session as part of the ECMA Congress 2012, Solarsoft senior vice president Andy Armitage said the company’s systems are largely unknown to European packaging businesses, while it is more widely known in North America.

The Solarsoft ERP systems are supplied to both the consumer packaging and corrugated markets for processes from quotations and job approval through to invoicing.

Armitage presented testimonies from a number of the company’s customers in North America, such as Proteus Packaging, Menasha Packaging, Boutwell, Owens and Co, Royal Paper Box and Boehmer Box, addressing the ways in which they have been able to achieve efficiencies and other gains by implementing Solarsoft systems.

Now, he said, Solarsoft is now actively looking to establish a European business.
