UK packaging converter reports success with EFI Radius MIS

A leading independent manufacturer of pharmaceutical healthcare and specialist food packaging in the UK is reaping the benefits from the installation of EFI Radius MIS software.

Firstan Quality Packaging produces more than 500 million cartons each year at its Cambridge premises. The installation of the EFI Radius software is allowing the company to automate business processes and gain visibility into operations, while offering the flexibility to grow alongside the company in its plans for future expansion.

Firstan moved from an in-house bespoke MIS system, which had been built during a 20-year period, to Radius as the company's continued growth demanded greater functionality, integrated data handling capabilities and the potential for JDF compliance.

Firstan was able to ensure that specific capabilities could be developed and incorporated into Radius, all tailored and tested thoroughly for proficient management of all processes from incoming jobs through to final dispatch.
