Zircon achieves HD Flexo certification
Zircon Technologies has become the first Indian converter to be HD Flexo certified by Esko.
The certification was awarded for Zircon’s introduction of HD Flexo into the daily production environment and the success it achieved at the company’s plant in Dehra Dun.
Sanjeev Sondhi of Zircon thanked Esko and its Indian operations for support in the implementation of HD screening and in achieving the first HD flexo screening certification by Esko in India. ‘HD Flexo has done a great thing for the process image. Not only we see a lot of positive attributes happening with solids and ink density, it also gives you more ink saturation, which is a big plus. Being a HD Flexo certified company, it is sure to strengthen our market presence and distinguish us from the competition. The certification will give our customers and prospects even more confidence, and will help us win business.’
The HD Flexo certification program requires that different print samples from five different commercial jobs be printed consistently. The samples were printed on Zircon’s ‘most trusted’ Mark Andy press, achieving the high quality and consistency required for the compliance.
