Printers claim praise with Esko Full HD Flexo

Esko Full HD Flexo was launched last year, with adoption around the world. As an example, Indian tradeshop Veepee Graphic Solutions has become one of the first Asian companies to adopt Esko Full HD Flexo and obtain the Full HD Flexo certification.

The process has already helped printers and converters win acclaim at competitions such as the EFIA Print Awards where pre-press house Marvaco, in partnership with packaging printers RKW Finland and Pa-Hu, won double gold in the International Flexo Print on Paper and Flexo Print on Film categories. In addition, PPP Digital Imaging, a UK-based provider of flexo repro, was recognized with a gold award in the Technical Innovation Supplier category for its PPP Fusion system that combines the capabilities of Esko Full HD Flexo with PPP’s techniques to deliver flexographic printing plates.

Earlier at the FlexoTech International Awards, Uniflex, one of the largest flexo packaging and self-adhesive label specialists in Belarus, was awarded the Supreme Award for its Moskovskiy Kartofel entry, which was also recognized in the Flexo Job Previously Printed By Another Process category.

Eugene Lungin of Uniflex said: ‘It demonstrates our advances in flexo printing, a breakthrough which was possible thanks to the Esko products, Full HD Flexo and Equinox we implemented.’

Esko customers had already been honored for their work at the DFTA Awards in 2013, with Bischof + Klein claiming gold in the category for pet food flexible packaging while Glatz Klischee was recognized with the gold award in the snacks and sweet category.
