Etiquetas Rocafer first in Europe with Spande press

Etiquetas Rocafer in Seville, Spain, has become the first company in Europe to install a Spande press, a model S5 for self-adhesive labels, supplied through Grupo Impryma, which has been appointed Spande's partner for its expansion into Europe.

Founded in 1963 in Mairena del Aljarafe, near Seville, Etiquetas Rocafer was the first company in Andalusia to print self-adhesive labels using continuous. Now led by the second generation of the Barberá family, the converter serves clients including wineries in Jerez and Cádiz, food manufacturers, logistics companies and dermocosmetics manufacturers.

The company chose the Spande press for two features built into its design: a high level of automation that guarantees fast setup with high-quality registration and print quality, and an ergonomic design focused on the operator. Both were fundamental to the purchase decision.

Etiquetas Rocafer's installation marks the start of a wider, step-by-step rollout for Spande in Europe. A Spande S5 demo machine is due to be installed in Madrid in about a month, with a further installation planned for Budapest afterward.
