AWA publishes three label market reports

Pressure-sensitive, in-mold and imports impact reports released simultaneously.

AWA Alexander Watson Associates has published three new label market reports covering the global pressure-sensitive label market, the global in-mold label market and the impact of overseas imports on North American and European label markets.

The AWA Pressure-sensitive Label Market Report 2026 reports global market growth of 2.5 percent in 2025, a modest slowdown following strong 2024 growth driven by inventory normalization across the value chain. Asia remains the largest regional market for pressure-sensitive labels, followed by Europe and North America.

The AWA In-mold Label Market Report 2026 covers a global IML market forecast to grow at a CAGR of 2.3 percent between 2025 and 2028. Europe holds the largest regional share at 56 percent of global IML volumes, focused on IML-IM formats, while North America accounts for 22 percent with a focus on IML-EB technologies. Asia holds a 13 percent share, with investment in new molding technologies addressing value chain integration challenges. South America and Africa and the Middle East each represent early-stage IML markets.

The updated AWAreness Report Global Influx examines the impact of Asian exports on European and North American pressure-sensitive label markets, covering pricing pressures on local producers, supply chain shifts and investment in intelligent labels and enhanced packaging.
