Iconex marks ten years of linerless labeling

Tennessee manufacturer celebrates decade of Sticky Media platform development.

Iconex, an M2S Group company based in Morristown, Tennessee, has marked its tenth anniversary, having grown from its 2016 establishment into a global labeling manufacturer operating seven facilities and employing more than 500 people across linerless and lined label technologies.

Central to the decade has been the development of Iconex Sticky Media, the company's patented linerless labeling platform, supported by hundreds of patents across multiple products. The platform has evolved into a portfolio of application-specific products, including Ultralite, Full Tack, Extreme, G2 and Zero, targeting foodservice, retail, logistics and e-commerce markets where liner waste elimination and operational efficiency are priorities.

Alongside its linerless work, Iconex has continued to develop lined label technologies for food safety, traceability and regulatory compliance applications in grocery, pharmacy, hospitality and shipping environments.

The company's growth has been supported by a series of acquisitions, including RiteMade, PM Company, Cenveo's label business, Liberty Greenleaf, MAX International Converters and MAXStick Products. In 2024, Iconex became part of M2S Group.

'Over the past decade, our shared commitment and collaborative spirit have fueled the growth of our people, our products, and the entire Iconex business,' said Rob Epler, president of Iconex. 'As we celebrate this anniversary, we look forward to many more years filled with continued growth, innovation, and partnership with our customers across the globe.'
