Hoenle to unveil LED-UV curing technology in Barcelona

UV specialist Hoenle has confirmed it will showcase cutting-edge LED-UV curing systems from its LED Powerline series and unveil new corporate branding at Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona, with the company targeting both label printing and flexible packaging markets.

The company will launch its LED Powerline Web curing system at the event, highlighting the technology's flexibility, efficiency and compact design. The system addresses modern production line demands with precise UV material curing capabilities.

The LED Powerline Web system offers two wavelength options for maximum application versatility. The UVA version cures printing inks, while the UVC version crosslinks UV coatings, silicones and adhesives. The UVC module can be positioned flexibly in any location, providing adaptability across various production environments.

The system features efficient water cooling, ensuring consistent high output during continuous operation under demanding production conditions. Its hybrid concept enables simple switching between conventional UV and LED technology in existing processes, allowing for the optional use of both conventional UV lamps and LEDs without compromising system integration.

The compact design allows easy integration into new and existing machine setups, making it suitable for retrofits and new installations.

Hoenle will also display its UV Scan MACS dose measurement system and complete UV technology portfolio for drying and curing inks, coatings and varnishes, including LED-UV, IR/Hot Air and Inert UV technologies.

The company will use Labelexpo Europe to unveil its new corporate design, alongside the launch of a corporate brand throughout the group and a new website. These changes bring the company's expertise under one roof and reflect its global strategic evolution, with customers at the forefront.
