FTA Forum InfoFlex sets attendance record

Nearly 1,100 flexo professionals gather in Milwaukee for landmark industry event.

The 2026 FTA Forum InfoFlex has concluded in Milwaukee with roughly 1,100 attendees, printer and converter participation at a six-year high and nearly 140 exhibitors, marking what the Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association describes as a defining moment for the flexographic industry.

Printer and converter representation grew 20 percent year on year, with 310 attendees from 27 US states and six countries. The four-day program at the Baird Center covered workflow optimization, AI, hybrid and digital printing integration, sustainability and workforce development, with a new Executive Leadership Summit bringing together senior leaders from printer and converter companies for focused business strategy discussions.

The FTA Awards Banquet recognized industry excellence across several categories. Catherine Haynes was inducted into the FTA Hall of Fame and Garrett Taylor received the President's Award. C-P Flexible Packaging and DuPont Cyrel Solutions received Sustainability Excellence Awards for compostable packaging and sustainable platemaking technology respectively, while Miraclon received the Technical Innovation Award for its Flexcel Prime Plate with Seamless Fit Technology. Six best of show honors were also presented across the Excellence in Flexography competition.

New features on the show floor included a Flexo Heritage area charting the history of flexographic printing and an FTA Community Hub featuring programming from Women of Flexo and Leaders Inspiring Flexo's Tomorrow. The event also introduced an FTA Flexo Draft program in partnership with the Phoenix Challenge, connecting new industry entrants with potential employers.

'It's where professionals tackle real technical challenges, explore cutting-edge technologies and strengthen the relationships that define this industry.'

The 2027 Forum InfoFlex will take place in Fort Worth, Texas, from May 2 to 5.
