Girls Who Print Canada launches monthly events

Christine Yardley to headline inaugural virtual event on April 29.

Girls Who Print Canada has launched Community Huddles, a monthly online event series bringing Canadian women in print together for mentorship, career development and peer connection, with the inaugural session taking place on April 29 from 12-1pm EST.

The first Community Huddle will feature Christine Yardley, president and CEO of Print Panther Direct in Oakville, Ontario. Subsequent sessions are tentatively scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month through December 2026, covering topics including student recruitment and mentorship, AI and product strategy, and a French-language session in October. A live summer meetup in mid-town Toronto is planned for July.

Each 45-minute session features a Girls Who Print Canada Advisory Board member sharing her career journey and perspectives, followed by a pre-recorded Q&A and an open Zoom conversation.

'Community Huddles reflect exactly what Girls Who Print Canada is here to do, bring women in print together, elevate their voices and create meaningful opportunities for mentorship, learning and connection,' said Joanne Gore, regional director of Girls Who Print Canada.

Girls Who Print is the world's largest professional network for women in print and graphic communications, with more than 12,000 members worldwide. Registration for the April session is available via the Girls Who Print Canada LinkedIn group.
