Ravenwood conference highlights linerless
Ravenwood Packaging's World Conference 2026 demonstrated the rapid global growth of linerless technology.
Ravenwood Packaging has highlighted the accelerating global adoption of linerless labeling technology at its World Conference 2026, bringing together its machinery distributors, printer partners and industry experts from across the globe.
Held at the Athenaeum and Ravenwood headquarters in Bury St Edmunds, England, the conference showcased global sales momentum, new products and increasing demand for sustainable packaging technology.
A central theme throughout the event was the rapid global growth of linerless technology. While the UK market remains strong, significant expansion is now being seen across Europe, the Americas and APAC, supported by new distributor partnerships, restructuring initiatives and growing market awareness.
'Global growth is picking up strongly in 2026, with increasing adoption across multiple regions,' said Dave Gooding. 'What we’re seeing is a shift from early adoption to wider market acceptance.'
The conference featured insights from global guest speakers, including Siobhan Parks, head of packaging at Hilton, who addressed the impact of evolving packaging regulations and sustainability requirements. Sessions explored key developments such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and the role of linerless labeling in meeting environmental targets.
Distributor partners also shared real-world experiences, highlighting how linerless technology is delivering measurable benefits, including reduced waste, lower operational costs and improved efficiency.
Ravenwood used the event to showcase its latest innovations, including the new Nobac 5000W Wrap Labeler, alongside advancements in vision inspection systems and expanded applications across fresh produce, ready meals and food-to-go sectors.
Live demonstrations at Ravenwood HQ provided attendees with hands-on experience of the technology, reinforcing its role in improving production efficiency while supporting sustainability goals.
Case studies presented during the conference demonstrated the growing global impact of linerless technology. One example highlighted the launch of linerless fresh produce packaging in Mexico, delivering rapid market adoption, strong retailer engagement and significant reductions in packaging waste.
Collaboration across the supply chain was another key focus, with sessions emphasizing the importance of strong partnerships between Ravenwood, distributors and printers to drive continued growth.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing achievements across the global network.
