Interket UK hits 100M meters on MPS press

Interket UK, based in Adlington, has reached a major production milestone, surpassing 100 million linear meters on one of its four MPS EF530 flexo presses. 

Since the installation of MPS2 in 2016, the press has produced approximately 51 million sqm of self-adhesive printed substrate, reflecting sustained growth, investment, and technical development within the company. 

From the outset, the project was shaped by clearly defined requirements set out by the management team, with the MPS implementation project being led by Vince Hughes in partnership with Nick Tyrer of MPS UK.

Since the press was installed in October 2016, it has produced labels that won the FlexoTech Supreme Award, setting an early benchmark for quality and performance. 

Over the past decade, Interket UK has continued to evolve its operations. The business has expanded both its workforce and capabilities, while refining processes to improve consistency and output. 

Today, the site operates four state-of-the-art MPS production lines, delivering high-quality flexo print and supporting a broad range of label and packaging applications. Alongside this growth, the company has also achieved recognition within the industry, securing multiple flexographic print awards. 

Reaching the 100-million-meter mark is a significant achievement for the Adlington site, underlining both the performance of the MPS2 press and the dedication of the team behind it.
