Alliance Printing installs second Weigang press

Converter builds a production environment for short-run label work.

Alliance Printing House in Chelyabinsk has installed a second Weigang ZX-320G web-fed semi-rotary offset press, completing the installation through Russian distributor Terem in late March 2026, less than two years after its first investment in the same platform.

The ZX-320G is configured with six offset printing units, a flexo varnishing unit and a semi-rotary die-cutting station, combining automated register control, motorized ink management and LED/UV curing for short-to-mid-run self-adhesive label production.

The converter also operates a Weigang flexographic press, creating a production environment that allows flexibility across different job types and run lengths.

'We are seeing increasing adoption of semi-rotary offset technology among label converters,' said Andrey Pavlov, head of the narrow web equipment department at Terem. 'It offers a strong balance between cost efficiency and print quality, especially for shorter runs. Several of our customers, including Alliance, have chosen to reinvest in this solution.'
