MPS unveils EF Packaging and Performance Ecosystem at Labelexpo
The show runs from September 16–19, 2025, at Fira Gran Via, marking the first time Labelexpo Europe will take place in Spain.

MPS has confirmed that it will debut EF Packaging and the Performance Ecosystem designed to help converters achieve higher efficiency, better quality, and stronger business results at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona.
The show runs from September 16–19, 2025, at Fira Gran Via, marking the first time Labelexpo Europe will take place in Spain.
MPS will unveil EF Packaging, a new press platform designed to bring MPS quality and performance to an even wider range of the flexible packaging market.
With EF Packaging, converters can expand into flexible packaging, wraparound and shrink sleeves, as well as in-mold labels, without compromising speed, print quality, or efficiency.
EF Packaging builds on MPS’s EF platform, adding enhanced mid-web capabilities, advanced automation, and robust connectivity through MPSConnect for real-time performance monitoring and optimization.
‘The EF Packaging is about giving our customers the opportunities to say "yes" to expand their product portfolio and explore more business opportunities in new segments — with a press that offers all the benefits our EF Flagship press enabling the lowest cost per print, at the highest speeds and quickest change-overs that MPS is known for,’ said Richard Miedema, global sales director at MPS.
Alongside EF Packaging, MPS will introduce visitors to the Performance Ecosystem, a unique visual framework that helps converters map and measure their journey toward higher efficiency, profitability, and sustainability.
The Performance Ecosystem illustrates how different factors — from operator skills and workflow optimization to data insights and machine performance — are connected and can be improved step-by-step.
It’s a holistic and integrated approach MPS offers to customers to identify growth opportunities and deliver targeted improvements. Backed by real production data from MPSConnect, everything related to the Performance Ecosystem turns abstract goals into a clear, actionable plan.
‘Converters often know they want to improve performance, but they don’t always know where to start. The Performance Ecosystem gives them a structured, data-driven way to prioritise changes and see measurable results,’ said Kelvin van den Bunt, connectivity and performance manager at MPS.
Labelexpo Europe 2025 will host more than 600 exhibitors and over 35,000 visitors from around the world. This year’s expanded scope includes not just label printing, but also flexible packaging and folding carton converting, making it a suitable platform for MPS to showcase EF Packaging and Performance Ecosystem to a broader audience.
At stand 4E41, MPS will offer a sneak peek at its EF Packaging press and real-world data from customers growing with MPS Connect. Experts will be available for conversations on service, innovation, and performance strategy and a clear picture of how MPS can help customers grow.
