Rotocon launches US operations with veteran team
Equipment manufacturer brings German precision to the American market.

Rotocon has launched Rotocon USA, expanding its global footprint with a new operation based in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, managed by industry veterans Jeff Ludwig, Cooper Ludwig, Bob Fudala and Jeff Haddad.
The new division provides American printers and converters with direct access to Rotocon's Ecoline and Chrome label printing, converting and finishing equipment, backed by local service and support.
With over 250 years of combined industry experience, the US team offers a portfolio of services, including press relocations, preventive maintenance, press rebuilds, asset appraisals and the buying and selling of new and pre-owned equipment, accessories, parts and consumables. Ten service technicians are strategically positioned across the country to ensure fast response times for installation, training and technical support.
'Rotocon USA is founded on the principle of putting the customer first,' noted Cooper Ludwig, one of the operation's managers. 'For decades, many converters we have worked with have been disappointed by traditional OEMs that no longer deliver the service and innovation they once relied on. By partnering with Rotocon, we are introducing a fresh alternative: reliable, servo-driven equipment, competitive pricing and a service model built around responsiveness and trust.'
To ensure immediate availability and minimize downtime, a full inventory of spare parts and consumables is stocked in New Jersey. Customers can also take advantage of trade-in options regardless of manufacturer on their legacy asset, making upgrades to modern Rotocon technology more affordable and delivering stronger ROI.
'Our partnership with Rotocon came after vetting a number of manufacturers worldwide,' explained Jeff Ludwig, another manager of the operation. 'Rotocon stood out for its sleek, dependable equipment and its unwavering commitment to customer service. This launch is more than a business expansion — it's about giving North American converters the tools, expertise and support they need to succeed in a highly competitive market.'
Jeff Haddad, also managing the US operation, emphasized the company's positioning in the North American market: 'At Rotocon USA, we knew we would have to be more than just an equipment supplier to stand out in this market — we're a true partner to converters. With a dedicated US presence, we deliver faster response times and localized support that customers can rely on. Our team offers 24/7 technical service, always on hand for advisory and troubleshooting, so production never has to stop.'
'We call it affordable innovation — German precision paired with cost-effective design,' added Bob Fudala, the fourth manager of the operation. 'And because our tooling is compatible not only with Rotocon equipment but also with most American OEM narrow-web platforms, we're uniquely positioned to support hybrid pressrooms running mixed brands.'
US printers and converters can meet Cooper Ludwig and Jeff Haddad at Rotocon's stand 4D21 during Labelexpo Europe, where the company showcases a lineup of printing and finishing technology in partnership with HS Machinery, including the Chrome 450 flexo press, the Ecoline RDF 340 digital label converting system and the Ecoline RSI 540 slitting and inspection machine.
