Boxes & Labels has installed the first HP Indigo 6K+ Digital Press in the Nordic region as the packaging company has expanded its production capabilities to meet growing demand for short-run label production and variable data printing.
The new press features AI-driven automation, enhanced image stability and supports substrates ranging from pressure-sensitive labels to shrink sleeves, IML, wraparounds and flexible packaging. With up to seven ink stations and access to HP's specialty inks, including Silver ElectroInk and invisible security inks, the investment positions the company to handle more complex jobs while maintaining quality standards.
'We've always strived to stay at the forefront and provide our customers with the best the market has to offer. The HP Indigo 6K+ not only increases our productivity but also enables us to take on new and more complex jobs without compromising on quality,' explained Kalle Järnfors, production manager at Boxes & Labels.
The press installation supports the company's strategy to address market demands for product variations and shorter print runs. The technology's future-ready platform allows Boxes & Labels to adapt to evolving design and functionality requirements across multiple packaging applications.
'Boxes & Labels is a frontrunner when it comes to combining craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. Their investment in the HP Indigo 6K+ is a clear statement of forward-thinking, and we are proud to support their continued growth,' commented Max Liljegren, sales executive, labels and packaging at Visutech, one of the leading suppliers of digital production equipment in the Nordic market.
