Grafotronic to unveil world's fastest die-cutting unit at Labelexpo 2025

Grafotronic has confirmed it will showcase more than ten cutting-edge machines at Labelexpo 2025, including the world premiere of its X-1 semi-rotary die-cutting unit, which the company claims is the fastest single-anvil system globally.

The finishing equipment manufacturer will present its latest Grafotronic IQ, the compact SCF with semi-automatic turret, new high-quality Grafotronic Haptic embellishing technology and the Grafotronic Infinity fully automatic turret rewinder powered by Serame. The company will also unveil its next-generation Sci-Fi Laser, a fully modular laser finishing system available in roll-to-roll, roll-to-parts or hybrid versions.

The X-1, which Grafotronic describes as 'the fastest system in the universe', features a single anvil design for enhanced control from setup to high-speed operation. The machine represents a significant development in semi-rotary die-cutting technology, targeting converters seeking maximum productivity in their finishing operations.

Also on display is the next-generation Sci-Fi Laser offers digital converting capabilities for printed labels and stickers, while the new Haptic embellishing technology advances the company's finishing capabilities.

Grafotronic has also partnered with Domino to create a hybrid technology arena at stand 3G85, featuring live demonstrations at 11:00 and 15:00 to showcase how hybrid technology advances label innovation.
