Rotocon has opened a 2,000 sqm facility and demo center in Longmeadow, Johannesburg, in what the company describes as a significant strategic investment in the label and packaging industry in South Africa.

The building has been purchased directly by the Aengenvoort family, signaling a long-term commitment to the market. The move from the company's previous facility took place in April 2026.

At the heart of the new site is a demo center housing a fully equipped Rotocon 450 flexo printing press, allowing customers to validate performance, optimize applications and identify new opportunities in real time. The facility also incorporates customized spare parts management, digital ink storage systems, an advanced tooling division and a specialized engineering team, alongside a fleet of delivery vehicles. All operations are aligned with ISO-certified standards.

The site includes a reception area, executive boardroom and modern office spaces designed to support customer engagement and collaboration. Rotocon is headquartered in Cape Town and Siek, Germany, with satellite branches in Cape Town, Durban, the US and Asia.

'This investment reflects a clear strategic intent to strengthen our position in the market and deliver exceptional value to our customers. We have invested significantly to ensure best-in-class service and support, while creating a high-performance environment where our team can grow, collaborate and consistently deliver excellence,' said Patrick Aengenvoort, executive director of Rotocon.
