Avery Dennison launches AD Fusion
AD Fusion delivers custom slit rolls that arrive ready to print and convert with RFID inlays already embedded.
Avery Dennison has launched AD Fusion, a program to help label and packaging converters adopt RFID technology. Powered by SmartFace technology, AD Fusion delivers customizable materials with pre-inserted RFID inlays, removing the traditional barriers to entry and helping businesses meet the rapidly growing demand for smart labels quickly and cost-effectively.
Entering the smart label market has traditionally required significant capital investment, with production tied to specific presses or facilities with specialized inlay insertion equipment. AD Fusion changes that. Designed to help converters scale their RFID offerings with ease, the program delivers new flexibility, whether converters are just starting out or looking to optimize RFID production across their network.
Designed to integrate seamlessly into existing workflows, AD Fusion delivers custom slit rolls that arrive ready to print and convert with RFID inlays already embedded, no new machinery or additional training required. With ultra-thin inlays that maintain the look and performance of standard labels, the transition to smart labels has never been smoother.
‘AD Fusion represents a major step forward in making RFID more accessible and actionable for converters,’ said Abby Monnot, vice president of marketing at Avery Dennison. ‘By combining SmartFace technology with a streamlined, production-ready format, we are bringing to market an innovative solution that helps customers accelerate adoption, unlock new opportunities, and compete more effectively in a rapidly evolving landscape.’
