Domino to unveil N410 LED label press at Labelexpo Europe

Digital printing specialist will showcase compact press alongside hybrid printing demonstrations and AI-powered workflow upgrades.

Domino Printing Sciences has been preparing to unveil its new compact N410 LED label press at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona, targeting converters looking to expand into digital printing applications.

The company will showcase the N410 LED alongside its proven N730i and N610i digital label presses, K600i and K300 monochrome inkjet printers and live demonstrations at Hall 3, Booth 3E91, Fira Gran Via.

'Labelexpo Europe is a key event for label converters interested in the latest advancements in printing and finishing technology, and we look forward to sharing our expertise and state-of-the-art printing technology with them at booth 3E91,' said David Ellen, divisional director of digital printing at Domino.

The N410 LED label press addresses increasing demand from converters seeking to enter digital printing by offering flexibility with low running costs. Russell Weller, head of digital products at Domino, noted that LED presses are enjoying increasing popularity due to their environmental benefits, which help converters save on energy costs and reduce waste.

'The N410 offers excellent value for converters looking to unlock new growth opportunities with a versatile digital approach, future-proofing their investment with LED inks, supported by Domino's world-class service and global support network,' Weller added.

Visitors will also experience Domino's N730i Integration Module in action for the first time, integrating with a Grafotronic DCL2 to form a hybrid printing and finishing line. The fully integrated system, equipped with priming, spot varnish, die cutting and slitting stations, will be showcased in the Domino-Grafotronic Hybrid Arena at booth 3G85.

The N730i Integration Module, based on Domino's Generation 7 platform, delivers up to 1,200 DPI print at speeds up to 90 m/min. The company introduced the module at Labelexpo Americas 2024 in response to growing demand for high-resolution digital hybrid printing and finishing.

Labelexpo will mark the official release of the latest version of Domino's Sunrise DFE workflow system, featuring new ripping technology using AI and machine learning to increase press output efficiency. All Domino presses on display will feature the new DFE.

The company will also demonstrate high-resolution, high-speed 2D code overprinting with its K600i and K300 monochrome inkjet printers as part of a Mark Andy Pro Series press, including inspection and verification technology from Domino Group company Lake Image Systems.

‘At Domino, we offer so much more than digital printing technology,’ concluded Ellen. ‘Our people and our expertise in helping customers to realise the benefits of digital technology are what sets us apart from the competition. We are more than just a vendor: we are a trusted partner who continually works with customers to drive efficiency and profitability.’
