Breit Technologies showcases Cast and Cure in Chicago

Embossing process delivers holographic and high-gloss effects without new equipment.

Breit Technologies has been preparing to present its Cast and Cure decorative coating process at Loupe Americas 2026 in Chicago, offering label and packaging converters access to more than 30 stock ultra-high gloss, matte and holographic patterns applicable across a wide range of substrates and printing processes.

Cast and Cure works by embossing ultraviolet coatings and varnishes, creating visual and tactile effects in both spot and flood coat applications without obscuring underlying text or graphics. The process emits no VOCs and avoids laminated metalized films, preserving the native recyclability of packaging. The Cast and Cure film is reusable, and a range of sustainable UV coatings and varnishes can be used with the process.

For many applications, the process requires no new equipment, with Breit Technologies also offering specialized in-line and off-line equipment for narrow web flexographic, sheet-fed and digital print environments.

'We look forward to Loupe every year. It's a great chance for us to share product news and to hear about the creative ways converters are elevating brands with Cast and Cure,' said Tim Cain, president of Breit Technologies.
