Jet Technologies expands Vietnam operations
Ho Chi Minh City facility triples workforce and adds ink lab as customer base grows 250 percent.
Jet Technologies has strengthened its Vietnam operations less than two years after launching in the country, growing its active customer base by more than 250 percent, nearly tripling its local workforce and relocating to a new 500 sqm office and warehouse facility in Ho Chi Minh City.
The new facility is positioned closer to customer manufacturing operations and features expanded warehouse capacity, dedicated technical support areas and a purpose-built ink laboratory for local color matching, product testing and customer training. The company has also expanded its consumables offering to include UV flexo inks, foils and specialty films alongside its existing portfolio of printing and converting technologies, enabling customers to access equipment, consumables, technical expertise, training and after-sales support from a single local partner.
Demand is being driven by continued investment across food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, logistics and consumer goods sectors in Vietnam, creating opportunities for suppliers combining advanced technology with responsive local service.
'Across Southeast Asia, we're seeing a clear shift towards digital, flexographic and automated production as printers look for ways to improve efficiency and remain competitive,' said Jack Malki, managing director of Jet Technologies. 'Vietnam is a key part of that story, and we've seen strong demand from customers looking for both leading technology and local support. Our investment reflects the direction the market is heading.'
'As our customer base has expanded, we've needed to expand with it,' added Loi Huynh, country manager of Jet Technologies Vietnam. 'Being closer to our customers means we can spend more time on site, respond faster when support is needed and provide the practical technical expertise that helps them get the best performance from their equipment.'
'Vietnam is an important part of our Southeast Asian business, and we see significant opportunity ahead,' noted Malki. 'We'll continue investing in our local team, technical expertise and product offering so we can support customers as the market evolves.'
