Archroma opens three innovation centers in India, Spain and US

Packaging technology company expands global footprint with specialist facilities.

Archroma Packaging Technologies has opened three Global Centers of Innovation in Mumbai, Prat and Charlotte to advance sustainable packaging technologies across flexible packaging, wood, tape and label, fiber and board markets.

The first center opened in Mumbai on September 5, 2025, equipped with facilities for flexible packaging and wood market segments serving the Asia Pacific region.

'The COI in Mumbai will focus on providing sustainable and value-added offerings to serve important end market segments in the Asia Pacific region and will work in close collaboration with our regional application centers,' commented Dinakar Gnanamgari, VP of innovation and portfolio expansion at Archroma Packaging Technologies.

The second center in Prat, Spain opened on September 17, 2025, specializing in tape and label applications with advanced laboratories for developing next-generation packaging.

The third facility will open later this year in Charlotte, North Carolina, focusing on fiber and board packaging and biomaterials.

The centers are positioned in fast-growing regions to provide greater visibility into market trends and customer needs.
