Flexcon publishes 2025 sustainability report
Pressure-sensitive films specialist diverts 76 percent of waste from landfill.
Flexcon has published its 2025 Annual Sustainability Impact Report, detailing progress across waste reduction, energy efficiency and materials innovation at its manufacturing operations in North America and Europe.
Key results include a 76 percent diversion of total waste from landfills and a 30 percent reduction in gas usage at its Glenrothes manufacturing facility following equipment modernization. Flexcon North America earned the EcoVadis Committed Badge in 2025, while Flexcon Europe achieved an EcoVadis Bronze Sustainability Rating across environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
On the materials side, Flexcon brought to market the first polypropylene film with 30 percent post-consumer recycled content in the US market and continued development of next-generation wash-off technologies. The company has also aligned its sustainability framework with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
'By reducing waste, optimizing resources and continuously improving manufacturing processes, Flexcon is making a measurable impact and creating lasting value for customers, communities and the environment,' said Dan Riendeau, senior director of product management and corporate sustainability at Flexcon.
The 2025 report is Flexcon's third consecutive annual sustainability publication.
