CGS Oris integrates Certified software with Screen's digital label technology
Color quality control system enhances consistency documentation for converters.

CGS Oris has extended its collaboration with Screen to integrate its Certified color quality control software with Screen's Truepress Label technology, providing converters with advanced monitoring capabilities that verify wide color gamut consistency against international standards with fully documented data for label clients.
'Looking forward, out of all the various projects where our organizations could work together, we identified that quality control and color consistency in label printing would have the greatest impact for converters,' noted Bernd Rückert, CEO at CGS Oris.
The Certified system profiles printing equipment color gamut against widely used standards such as FOGRA 51 or GRACoL, measuring and evaluating color patches on proofs or press sheets to achieve the lowest possible Delta E rating.
Once a press has been thoroughly profiled, Certified monitors color stability over extended periods, documenting and archiving results to verify accurate color reproduction with certifiable evidence accessible to stakeholders through a cloud-based system.
CGS Oris and Screen have collaborated for many years on digital color management integrated into Screen's Equios workflow software, including handling Color Exchange Format data to automate color matching and control processes. The partnership will demonstrate the integrated workflow live at Labelexpo 2025 on the Screen booth in Hall 5, Stand D55. A CGS ORIS technician will regularly perform live color measurements using Certified, with results compared against archived data to demonstrate immediate, accurate spot-color reproduction and long-term stability.
