‘Three wise men’ put themselves in FINAT Congress firing line
Editors of three of the world’s leading label industry magazines will put themselves, and their reputations, in the firing line at the FINAT 2007 World Congress in Berlin by outlining their perspectives for the future of the industry – and challenging their audience to debate their views.
Klemens Ehrlitzer, editor of Germany’s Etiketten-Labels, Jack Kenny, of the United States’ Label and Narrow Web, and Andy Thomas, who edits the UK’s Labels and Labeling, become the ‘three wise men’ who will present their views on the most important trends they see in the labeling sector and how these will be reflected at September’s Labelexpo Europe.
FINAT’s managing director Jules Lejeune, who will preface the debate with his annual update of trends and developments in self-adhesive label materials demand in Europe, said: ‘We will challenge our delegates to reflect and debate the editors’ perspectives of the future of our industry in such areas as substrates and packaging applications, self-adhesive growth drivers, trends in printing and converting technology, prepress and workflow and the future impact of globalization.’
The Congress will be held on May 31 and June 1 Berlin’s Maritim Hotel and special rates are available for companies associated with FINAT or ones thinking of joining it or VskE.
