20th anniversary and a move for Arrowhive

Arrowhive Equipment Ltd is celebrating its 20th anniversary of trading and is moving to new premises.

Arrowhive Equipment’s Philip Fletcher said: ‘The one constant in life is change, change is constant. This quotation, attributed to former Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, seems apt. Back in 1986 our existing premises were more than sufficient for our means, but this is simply no longer the case with all of the various changes that are taking place.’

Back in 1986 Arrowhive’s agency and distributorship activities were largely limited to representing the UK & Eire interest of Montalvo, the US-headquartered tension control manufacturer, and Schlumpf AG, the Switzerland-based manufacturer of winding shafts and chucks.

Philip Fletcher continued: ‘Over time we also took on the distributorship for Lundberg edge trim removal systems and more recently have had considerable success in marketing reel and shaft handling systems designed and developed by Schlumpf Inc. With the addition of Witech reel turners to our product range, and Proton InteliSENS laser speed and length gauges – an operational rethink was in order.’ 

In conclusion, Philip Fletcher said that the new premises would provide logistical and cost advantages and will enable the company to operate more efficiently, providing customers with ‘best available systems and equipment,’ and best possible sales and after-sales service.
