A1 Label Toronto invests in ETI Technology

A1 Label, one of Canada’s major label printers, has invested in a Cohesio in-line silicone and adhesive coating line from ETI. Rhys Seymour, director of manufacturing at A1, commented: ‘In a very competitive market, it is the only way to be profitable.’

A1 Label says it has achieved savings of between 30-50 per cent in PS laminate.

Converters are able to reverse print before coating the adhesive using the ETI patented technology. Key applications are for the beverage, wine, beer, food and personal care sectors, and ETI says more than 50 converters worldwide are now using its systems.
