AGI Labels, the Littlehampton-based digital print specialist, has installed a new sheeting device – an automatic, precision guillotine solution that enables customers to take away convenient, easy-to-transport, easy-to-use sheets – ideal as inserts for magazines or mail-shots.

Technical spokesman Brendan Etheridge commented: ‘We believe in giving our customers a matchless standard of print work, and the very best in competitive pricing. Not only are we now putting all of our materials, paper, chemicals, synthetics etc out to tender, we are also investing in interesting new machinery that will work alongside our conventional and digital printing presses. Our new sheeting device is one such example. Put simply, a roll of labels is fed through the machine, the print-run being sliced up into convenient, easy-to-handle sheets. Customers can simply use their labels, almost like buying a book of stamps.’

Etheridge also announced a continual training and technical improvement program within the company: ‘The constant monitoring of our work, plus new training for our teams, and a commitment to using the most innovative machinery and cost-effective materials that the market has to offer.’
