AIM Global, the industry trade association recognized as the worldwide authority on automatic identification and mobility, has announced plans for their third annual RFID Executive Summit and Legislative Fly-In.

The event will be held from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, 7 September 2006 at the Holiday Inn on the Hill in Washington, DC, USA. The invitation-only meeting will bring thought leaders from RFID and Automatic Identification together in a unique networking and educational environment.

The program will highlight strategic issues facing the RFID and Automatic Identification market, namely: privacy and security issues influencing acceptance of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, latest market analysis, current state of RFID and Automatic Identification standards, and the latest feedback from key users of the technology. Capping off the event will be an opportunity to visit legislative staff on Capitol Hill.

‘Representing this industry for more than thirty years, AIM Global is uniquely positioned to facilitate this important dialogue,’ remarked AIM Global president, Dan Mullen. ‘And as usual, we will highlight the most pressing strategic issues while providing plenty of time for discussion and networking.’
