AIM Global, the trade association for the Automatic Identification and Mobility industry, will offer a series of online presentations designed to educate resellers, integrators and end users about RFID technology and its uses within the global shipping industry.

The first presentation in this series will focus on "Securing Cargo With Seals." It is scheduled for September 2, 2004 at 2 p.m. Eastern Daylight time.  Stephen Wolfe of North River Consulting Group, and Lani Fritts, Savi Technology will share their expertise on how RFID seals and other high-tech container security devices can help secure supply chain assets and ensure shipment integrity by quickly and reliably providing notification of tampering. RFID technology can also be the key to the efficient global tracking of goods in transit.
This RFID webinar is designed to educate employees from all types of organizations -- from integrators and resellers to enterprise users -- on the technology and business case for deploying RFID for cargo security and tracking.
