AIM North America, the chapter organization for Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) Technologies, is creating an RFID informational toolkit that will be available to solution providers in early January 2004.

As a not-for-profit industry organization, AIM North America's mission is to stimulate the understanding, adoption and use of technology by providing timely, unbiased and commercial-free news and information.

‘The status of RFID is confusing, there's no doubt about it. AIM's goal is to provide clear, easily understandable and unbiased information about this important new technology,’ saysTee Migliori, chairman of the AIM North America Board. The Toolkit is intended as an RFID educational piece for solution providers to assist in their RFID sales efforts. The contents will include materials such as papers on basic RFID technology, RFID market data, tips on selling RFID products and application stories.

Upon completion, the toolkit will be available to AIM North America members and for sale to non-members. In lieu of purchasing the toolkit, companies can join AIM NA and get a free copy of the toolkit.
