Allied Graphic Technologies to represent Apex in Southern Africa
With immediate effect, Apex – the Dutch manufacturer of anilox and metering rolls – has appointed Allied Graphic Technologies as its new representative company in Southern African.
Mr Robert Blythin of Apex Europe has recently been given the responsibility of transforming the market in this region – an area which is widely considered to have underachieved in recent years. Robert is sure that Apex Europe has secured the best possible partner in Allied Graphic Technologies.
Allied Graphic Technologies (Pty) Ltd is a privately-owned, limited company, established with the intention of providing a range of very unique services and products to the South African printing and packaging industry. The management team of AGT consists Mr Russel Jerome and Mr Dean Govender, who together represent experience in the fields of anilox production technology, printing processes technology and quality systems.
Russel has previous technical management experience in an anilox production environment, while Dean has approximately 16 years experience in the production of laser-engraved printing components. Both Dean and Russel see this co-operation as an ideal opportunity to provide the South African printing market with the latest and most innovative European roller production technology, especially when supplied in conjunction with AGT’s unique component inspection and maintenance programs
In addition to the supply of superior quality products, customers can now be provided with a unique insight into the specification, application and maintenance of these components in service. AGT’s analytical systems now provide the added capability of product life prediction and the formulation of planned maintenance cycles. ‘Our intention is to assist the customer in establishing an in-depth understanding of his process requirements, thereby providing new avenues for process optimization and reduced running costs,’ said Russel.
