Anderson & Vreeland to distribute Stork Helios direct laser engraving systems

Stork Prints has appointed Anderson & Vreeland as its distributor in the United States effective immediately. Stork Prints offers a range of direct laser engraving systems including the Helios 6010, a system that digitally engraves flexo, dry offset and letterpress plates and sleeves in a single system.

The Helios 6010 offers label printers ‘enhanced quality and a much shorter, simplified workflow’, according to a statment. ‘Processing plates and sleeves digitally eliminates the need for film processing, exposing, chemical washing, masking and long drying times. Added benefits include better quality reproduction over longer runs, simple changeover, reduced errors, faster turn-around, more economical and more environmentally friendly plate production.’

Anderson & Vreeland will sell Stork direct laser engraving systems and provide technical support using a nationwide staff of technical sales representatives who are highly knowledgeable about flexographic printing. Anderson & Vreeland offers direct laser engraving demonstrations with the Helios 6010 system at its Bryan, Ohio facility.
