Apex Italy opens new factory

The Apex Group of Companies, supplier of anilox rolls and sleeves, hosted an open house at the end of June to herald the opening of its new factory. 

Last year, Apex Europe expanded its facility when the neighboring building was bought and production capacity equaled an extra 5,000 square meters.

Apex Italy has also recently expanded its capacity. A new production hall was constructed near the old factory, resulting in capacity tripling. The new hall is equipped with the newest technologies, amongst these the plasma spray unit and Apex’ own laser engraving equipment.

Amongst the guests at the open house were end users, machine manufacturers, suppliers, local authorities and journalists and a delegation of Apex Europe. The introduction of the new plant was performed by Luigi Della Torre, founder of Apex Italy and Henry Ralton, founder of the whole Apex group of companies. Luca Guazzoni, sales manager Apex Italy, gave a presentation on the company, its products and its newest developments, which was followed by a tour through the production, with an explanation on the latest technologies.
